Rays release two pitchers

Right-handed relievers Chris Kelly and Travis Risser were released today by the Rays. Kelly was at high-Class A Vero Beach last year. Risser split time between low-A Columbus and short-season Hudson Valley.

    I am stunned that Travis Risser was released today. I was really impressed with his pitching.
