He was one of many pitchers ab...Poor Carlos Fisher. He was one of many pitchers abused by Dusty Baker, a manager who enjoys eating rotator cuffs for breakfast. I will never forget watching that poor guy left out there on the mound pitching his career away. He pitched great that game, but was never really the same after Dusty allowed him to pitch 5.2 innings of "relief" work. A reliever called up from AAA who had not pitched more than 2 innings in any game so far that season. His highest pitch count that season was an unusually high total of 47 was during an outing 3 weeks before. But I guess Dusty thought it was alright to let him labor through 95 pitches to earn a loss.
