And, as you've come to expect from Biscuit Crumbs, a lot on the Rays, Durham Bulls, Charlotte Stone Crabs and Bowling Green Hot Rods, too.

Go to montgomeryadvertiser.com/sports/biscuits to see all of our coverage.

Since all the stories/blog posts/etc. are there, there's no longer any need for me to post daily links. The page will still have the daily recap of each game, the nightly Rays roundup and the morning Ranking the Rays.

With that, I won't be posting to this blog anymore, but I'll still be using my posts here as historical reference. Heck, we started using Blogger in 2006 and have used it ever since, except for one season where I was required to use montgomeryadvertiser.com as the blog's home, with more than 6,000 posts in between.

I hope you enjoy the new look. See you at the ballpark ... and, of course, montgomeryadvertiser.com/sports/biscuits. And, yes, the Aug. 19, 2009 doubleheader at Birmingham and a June 19, 2007 home doubleheader vs. Mobile are notable. However, that 2007 DH started after a 2:46 rain delay.

Mateo walked two and struck out four before rains halted play with one out in the bottom of the sixth.

It's the right-hander's fourth career complete game. His third was a no-hitter last August for the Biscuits. Nine innings, too.

Montgomery staked Mateo to a 2-0 lead before he took the mound.

Ryan Brett hit a leadoff single and scored on Taylor Motter's double. With one out, Cameron Seitzer singled in Motter. The Biscuits led 3-0 after Richie Shaffer doubled and scored on a wild pitch in the fourth.

Mateo took a no-hitter into the fifth inning.

Pensacola's Juan Silverio hit a leadoff single and Juan Duran doubled him to third. But Joey Rickard threw out Silverio at home on Bryson Smith's flyout before Devin Lohman grounded back to Mateo to end the threat.

In the sixth, Yorman Rodriguez walked and scored on Donald Lutz's triple for the Blue Wahoos before heavy rain stopped play.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23235590.post-12756688626698318132014-04-14T17:31:00.002-05:002014-04-14T17:31:55.577-05:00Romero might be bound for big leaguesEnny Romero has been scratched from his scheduled start tonight for Triple-A Durham and could be headed for the big leagues.

Tampa Bay's Jake Odorizzi, who is scheduled to start Tuesday at Baltimore, is sick.
