Barratt to disabled list

The Biscuits created roster space for Tony Peguero by putting pitcher Jon Barratt on the disabled list.

Not sure if what ails Barratt. The move has yet to be officially announced, but Montgomery's roster has been changed on various Web sites.

Barratt did have his best start of the season Wednesday, allowing one run on three hits and three walks over 6 2/3 innings to win at Birmingham.

    Some players take time to adjust to a new level and Barratt did have a good outing his last start. We'll see if that continues.
