Baker's shutout streak ends

Brian Baker finally gave up a run tonight in Durham's 5-3 victory at Norfolk. The Tides struck in the second against Baker, snapping the right-hander's 16 1/3-inning scoreless streak. It was the only run allowed by Baker in his four innings so he didn't qualify for the win. However, Baker lowered his ERA to 2.48.
