Former Biscuits pitcher Matt Moore, appearing today on Sirius XM's "Power Alley" show, said he has been given no indication if he'll start the 2012 season with the Tampa Bay Rays.
Moore, who won the Topps minor league player of the year award Monday, will experience his first major league spring training next year. After the way he ended the 2011 season, he could break camp with the Rays.
"I'm going to show up in spring training and be ready to go," Moore said from Arizona, where he said he's in his second week of workouts.
"If I make the team, great. If not, I'm going to go down and pitch wherever they tell me to until it's time to go again."
