Rays roll into World Series

Matt Garza turned in an admirable effort to help the Rays shake off miserable performances the last two games and the Rays are headed to the World Series.

Garza allowed two hits over seven-plus innings in Tampa Bay's 3-1 pennant-clinching win over the Red Sox tonight.

The Rays, who had the worst record in baseball last year, won the American League championship and will face the Philadelphia Phillies in the World Series. Tampa Bay had a 3-1 series lead over Boston before losing twice to force tonight's Game 7.

I sure am glad that the fork you were using was dull. We are not through yet. The Tampa Bay Biscuits will keep on rolling.

It could be called a Freudian slip, but what might you believe to be 0?

Rays' wins in the World Series? Possible.

National football championships in this state the last 15 years? Nope, Tuskegee and North Alabama have won.

Number of arrests in Philadelphia after the Phillies win the World Series? I seriously doubt it.

Amount of Nick Saban's last paycheck? Absolutely not.
