Robert E. Lee High graduate Nick Singleton has been traded from one independent team to another.Singleton, an American Association All-Star this year for the Sioux City Explorers, will join the Gary SouthShore Railcats of the Northern League next year. Singleton was the "centerpiece" of a "blockbuster" five-player trade, according to the Railcats.
The 26-year-old right-hander, who played at AUM, has worked at Riverwalk for the last few years before the start of the independent season.
