Mississippi Braves "replace" hitting coach

This is odd this early in a season.

The Mississippi Braves have "replaced" their hitting coach.

Jamie Dismuke is out and John Moses has been promoted from high-Class A Lynchburg. Moses is due to join the Mississippi Braves on Monday.

Carlos Mendez, in his seventh season in the Atlanta organization, will go to Lynchburg.

No word on Dismuke's future or a reason for his move. He was in his first season with Mississippi and was at Triple-A Gwinnett last year.
