Biscuits shortstop Shawn O'Malley is available today "if we need him," manager Billy Gardner said, though he's not in today's lineup after leaving Saturday due to biceps tendinitis.
"He played catch and felt good, but there's still a little discomfort there," Gardner said. "He took some swings and felt good from both sides. Maybe tomorrow, maybe (wait) another day with the off day and we get him back out there Wednesday."
The Biscuits finish their series with the Birmingham Barons at 10:35 a.m. Monday. They're off Tuesday before starting a series at Pensacola.
