The city received its lowest rent payment from the Biscuits when the team paid just $37,487 this week. The total covers a share of the team's revenue for the months of October, November and December.The previous low quarterly payment was $76,915 for the same months a year ago. The team has paid a total of $2,940,054 in rent since Riverwalk Stadium opened in 2004.

Just a bad few months, I suppose. Or, as many in town may try to say, I told you it wouldn't last. I know a few people like that.
