Biscuits pitcher Jason Cromer has re-signed with the Rays and will likely return to Montgomery this year, while Alexander City native Bill White has signed with the Chicago Cubs.
White, a left-handed pitcher, first reached the major leagues with the Texas Rangers two years ago. Cromer, also a lefty, was with the Biscuits from 2004-06, spent a year in the Kansas City organization and returned to Montgomery last season. He finished 5-3 with a 3.96 ERA.
