Shields, Rays strike seven-year deal
Former Biscuits pitcher
Jamie Shields
and the Tampa Bay Rays announced a seven-year contract today that is potentially worth $44 million. The first four years are guaranteed and the team holds options for 2012, 2013 and 2014.
