Jimmy Patterson is returning to the Biscuits.
The left-handed pitcher, who went down with an oblique injury in April, has been promoted back to Montgomery from high-Class A Charlotte.
Patterson made just one appearance for Montgomery before going on the disabled list. he threw 2 2/3 innings April 7, giving up an unearned run on three hits.
The 24-year-old was activated last week by the Stone Crabs and has pitched in two games. He's thrown six innings with three runs on six hits.
