The Devil Rays picked Jamie Shields as the organization's top pitcher for the month of May, while Kevin Witt was the top player.
Shields, a former Biscuit, was 2-0 with a 2.18 ERA, numbers good enough that he was promoted to the major leagues last weekend.
Witt, who is not a former Biscuit, hit .354 with seven doubles, eight homers and 24 RBIs in 26 games.
