With the potential tying runs in scoring position, Reid Fronk struck out looking and Emeel Salem grounded out to end the Charlotte Stone Crabs' 3-1 loss to the Tampa Yankees on Monday.The Yankees moved within one win of the Florida State League championship. The Crabs host Game 4 on Tuesday.
The Crabs didn't score until the ninth when Ryan Royster singled in Matt Sweeney. Starter Alex Cobb took the loss with six innings of one-run ball.
