Right-handed pitcher Taylor Guerrieri, a top-tier Tampa Bay prospect, won't start the season on time.
Guerrieri is being held back for an extra week, he said, because he hasn't thrown enough innings in spring training. He's supposed make his full-season debut with low-Class A Bowling Green this year.
Guerrieri said the plan is for him to leave Saturday.
Guerrieri, a first-round draft pick in 2011, had a 1.04 ERA in 52 innings at short-season Hudson Valley last year.

Was He sick or injured during spring training? If not why didn't he get enough innings?
