Feldkamp to visit home

Pitcher Derek Feldkamp is headed home this weekend to be with his sister who's having brain surgery stemming from an auto accident in December. Corrie Feldkamp was hit by a car and thrown 25 feet in Ann Arbor, Mich., on Dec. 13.

Also, Carolina's Jai Miller has apparently enjoyed his trip home since he has an extra-base hit in each of the series' first four games, and Montgomery pitcher Chris Mason, barely two weeks after vowing regular patronage to Montgomery's new Hooters, now says he'll never go back. Mason said he was disrespected by a manager after he made a complaint.
