Alabama State will play in a Major League Baseball-sponsored event in Houston, with one of the Hornets' three games in a major league stadium. The 2012 Urban Invitational runs Feb. 17-19.
ASU, after playing Cal Irvine on Feb. 17, takes on Grambling State at 11 a.m. Feb. 18 in the Houston Astros' Minute Maid Park. The Hornets finish against Southern University on Feb. 19.
The Hornets were to open the season with a three-game home series against Grambling on Feb. 18-19.
Feb. 17: vs. Cal Irvine, 2:30 p.m. at Astros' MLB Urban Youth Academy
Feb. 18: vs. Grambling State, 11 a.m. at Minute Maid Park
