Castillo deactivated to make room for Delmon

To make roster space for Delmon Young, the Biscuits have deactivated Keith Castillo.

Castillo has been with Montgomery all season, though he spent the first six weeks on the inactive list.

Castillo, normally a catcher, has a .190 average in 34 games. He won the Southern League's player of the week award June 3 after his first extensive action. In five games the previous week, he was 10-for-19 with five RBIs, four runs scored and four extra-base hits.

Castillo doubled in the second game of Monday's doubleheader for his first hit since Aug. 3. He's played in just six games this month.
