Left-handed reliever Bruedlin Suero has been demoted from high-Class A Charlotte to low-A Bowling Green, an unusual move this late in the season.
Suero had a 5.49 ERA in 11 appearances, his last coming Aug. 14.
The 23-year-old missed two months with an ankle injury starting in early May. He also started his season two weeks late. Suero made an impressive leap to make his season debut with the Stone Crabs after spending last year at Rookie-level Princeton.
