Asked, not answered

Baseball America had an online chat this afternoon with Vanderbilt's David Price and Charlotte's Adam Mills, who are two of the three finalists for the Roger Clemens Award, which goes to the nation's top pitcher.

The question I submitted -- "David, how are negotiations going with the Devil Rays?" -- wasn't among those answered.

Evan Longoria is indeed in attendance for batting practice, meaning the Rays' annual Moving Day was quiet around here.

Last year, the Biscuits lost Wes Bankston and gained Mitch Talbot right after the All-Star Game. Two years ago, Delmon Young moved up, Tony Peguero came in and Jesus Colome started a rehab assignment. In 2004, Willie Glen came down from Durham, Frank Moore came off the DL and Joey Gomes went on it.

This year ... nothing, nobody moving up. (Longoria coming off the TIA list and Chris Nowak going on the DL doesn't count on this.)
