Stage being set for Longoria's exit??

Me thinks third baseman Evan Longoria is about to play his final home game at Riverwalk Stadium.

Longoria has confirmed the rankings that had him as one of Tampa Bay's top minor-league talents this year with the Biscuits. He's hitting better than .300, has tied a Biscuits record with 20 home runs and entered Thursday second in the league with 71 RBIs.

Durham's regular third baseman, Joel Guzman, played first base Thursday against Norfolk. It was Guzman's season debut at first base.

Montgomery caps a home series with Mobile on Friday before going on a 10-game road trip. The Biscuits are back Aug. 8 to play Chattanooga. Will Longoria be there, too?
