Jai goes yard thrice

Selma High's Jai Miller jacked three home runs for the Carolina Mudcats in a 12-5 win over the Tennessee Smokies that ended Wednesday.

Miller hit a solo homer in the second inning Tuesday before rain suspended the game. On Wednesday, Miller cranked a two-run blast in the fourth and powered a grand slam in the seventh.

Miller, whose seven RBIs is a career high, is hitting .273 with 11 home runs. He also walked and scored in the fifth inning.
