Alexander City native Bill White got the call Tuesday and was promoted to the major leages with the Texas Rangers.
White was 2-0 with two saves and a 4.44 ERA in 43 appearances at Class AA Frisco this season. He had made one appearance above Class AA -- with Class AAA Oklahoma in April -- in his professional career.
