Durham takes 2-1 lead in title series

Michel Hernandez's two-run single with two outs in the seventh gave the Durham Bulls the lead in a 3-2 victory over the Richmond Braves.

The Bulls took a 2-1 lead in the International League championship series and are one victory from the title. Game 4 is Friday.

Braves starter Francisley Bueno threw six no-hit innings, but was replaced by Buddy Hernandez to start the seventh. Jason Pridie was hit by a pitch, stole second and went to third on Justin Ruggiano's single. Chris Richard doubled home Pridie to make it 2-1.

After Zach Schreiber replaced Buddy Hernandez, Evan Longoria flied out and Brent Butler grounded out, Michel Hernandez hit a line drive to center to bring both runners home.
