Former Biscuits catcher Stephen Vogt has been removed from Tampa Bay's 40-man roster.
The Rays also removed catcher Robinson Chirinos so they could add two players for their 25-man Opening Day roster.
Reliever Jamey Wright and infielder Shelley Duncan will be with the Rays, who added Duncan because infielder Luke Scott went on the disabled list.
