Houser on TIA list

Biscuits pitcher James Houser has been temporarily deactivated because of a family emergency. He learned of the emergency during Monday's game and hurridly left for the drive home to Sarasota, Fla.

UPDATE: Houser's dad, James Houser Sr., suffered a heart attack but is in stable condition, Biscuits manager Billy Gardner said. Houser Jr. wanted to rejoin the team Wednesday in Mobile, Gardner said, but the Biscuits told him to take an extra day.
