Former Biscuit Jeff Niemann started today's Futures Game for the USA, but gave up two runs in the first inning of the World's 7-2 victory.
Jacksonville Suns shortstop Chin-Lung Hu hit an RBI double and scored on Joey Votto's flyout in the first off Niemann. Hu won the Futures Game's most valuable player award. Votto was the Southern League MVP last season for Chattanooga.
Current Biscuit Evan Longoria was also on the U.S. roster. I can't find a box score yet to see if he played. (I just finished a drive to Pearl, Miss., for the Southern League's All-Star Game, so, no, I didn't watch it on TV.) OK, I found something: "Longoria started at third base and doubled in his only at-bat."
Justin Upton of the Mobile BayBears homered for the good ol' USA.

Evan Longoria Went 1 for 1 a Double in the 1st. In the 3rd hit by a pitch. In the 5th repleaced by Whittleman.

I looked on their Futures page, in the game story, on the scoreboard page and on the general All-Star Game page -- both at mlb.com and milb.com -- to no avail. Obviously, I didn't hit the right spot.
