Sandberg ejected, does dirty deed

Smokies manager Ryne Sandberg, the Hall of Fame player, was ejected in the third inning tonight by home-plate umpire Toby Basner and kicked dirt on Basner during the ensuing argument. Sandberg objected after Basner called the first pitch to Montgomery's Drew Anderson a ball.
