Yankees latest to make run at Patrick White

West Virginia quarterback Patrick White was a fine baseball player at Daphne High, hence why he went in the fourth round of the 2005 draft coming out of high school.

Well, major-league teams are still hoping he'll pursue baseball. Now come the New York Yankees, who made White their 48th-round pick this year.

The Angels, who picked him coming out of high school, took a run at him two years ago in the 27th round. Last year, Cincinnati took him in the 49th round.
