In case of a tie, Durham wins division

With less than a week to go in the season, Durham and Gwinnett are tied for the International League's South Division lead. With Gwinnett's win over Durham on Tuesday, the teams split the season series 11-11.

Since both are all but in the playoffs as either a division champ or wild card, they wouldn't play a tiebreaking game. But the first tiebreaker in that situation is head-to-head.

The second tiebreaker is division record and Durham wins there. So, in case of a tie at the end of the season, they'd officially be co-champs. However, Durham would be the champ for playoff-seeding purposes.

You will be quizzed on this.
