Jennings sets record in Durham playoff clincher

Desmond Jennings was 7-for-7 to set a Durham record in the Bulls' 14-3 win at Charlotte tonight. Durham also clinched an International League playoff spot.

Jennings had six singles, a double, three RBIs and four runs scored. The seven hits tied a league record.

Fernando Perez had the previous team record with six in an extra-inning game last July.

Stacy, I was there and saw the game. Desmond was unreal. They could not stop him. Last night he was on base 6 times also.
Brignac was nice as can be last night before getting called up. I got to talk to Jaso, Rashad, and Desmond. Charlie said to tell everyone in Montgomery he said hello and asked if I needed tickets in Durham. Nicest guy ever.
