The Rays have added second baseman Sean Rodriguez from the Angels to complete the Scott Kazmir trade.
Rodriguez will report to Durham and the Rays say they'll announce a corresponding 40-man move later today.
Rodriguez has been with Triple-A Salt Lake for most of the season, but has played in 12 major-league games. He hit .299 in 103 games for Salt Lake with 29 home runs and a career-high 93 RBIs. The 24-year-old also played shortstop and saw time at all three outfield positions.
