Shealy, after leaving Durham, lands with Red Sox

Infielder Ryan Shealy opted out of his contract with Triple-A Durham this week and has already landed another job. He's signed a minor league contract with the Boston Red Sox. That could mean a promotion is coming for a Biscuit.

Shealy played first base for the Bulls and hit .238 with 10 home runs and 38 RBIs in 48 games. His last game was Sunday and his release reported Tuesday.
