State's Mr. Baseball goes in 46th round

Fairhope High's Daryl Norris was the 46th-round pick of the Texas Rangers. Norris stood out as an infielder at Fairhope and was the state's Mr. Baseball, but the Rangers took him as a pitcher. Norris has signed with Mississippi State.

He went 12 picks after San Diego grabbed St. Paul's outfielder Dominick Francia.

Here's the updated state draft list.
