Robert E. Lee High graduate Jerome Dunning has signed to play for the Desert Valley Mountain Lions of the independent Continental Baseball League.
Dunning is scheduled to make his debut tonight, his agent, Demetrius Mitchell, said. Dunning, who graduated from Lee in 2006, hit .318 with 36 RBIs and 25 runs scored in 38 games as a senior this spring at UAH.
