Saturday Rays recap

Bulls 2, Gwinnett 1
Brandon Gomes worked out of a bases-loaded, two-out jam in the eighth and rolled through a perfect ninth for his first Triple-A save. Desmond Jennings led off the game with a home run. Alex Cobb won his Triple-A debut, allowed one run on three hits in five innings. He walked two, struck out seven and committed a throwing error.

Stone Crabs 14, Bradenton 1
Mayo Acosta, Anthony Scelfo and Matt Hall, the 7-9 hitters in the lineup, had three RBIs each. Scelfo, who homered, and Acosta each scored twice. Acosta's three-run double capped a nine-run fourth inning.

Dayton 5, Hot Rods 4
Steve Tinoco and Phil Wunderlich knocked in two runs each. Matt Stabelfeld gave up two runs in the seventh. Cody Rogers swiped two bases. Tinoco's two-run, two-out single in the second gave Bowling Green a 3-0 lead.
