Zach Quate let his football tickets go to waste.
An avid N.C. State fan whose family has season tickets, Quate could have checked out the Wolfpack before his November wedding.
Quate and Paige Brantley, high school sweethearts, were married Nov. 3 in suburban Raleigh, N.C. Instead of first seeing his Wolfpack, Quate went straight to the ceremony.
"She would have killed me," Quate said.
Quate didn't miss much, either, and save your ACC jokes. The Wolfpack suffered a 33-6 homecoming loss to Virginia.
