Noodleman at Riverwalk; Hot Rods to show mascot; Bulls trumpet concert

The Bowling Green Hot Rods just announced that they'll introduce their mascot before tonight's game against West Virginia. (The San Francisco Crab, lower right, formerly of the Giants, has been out of work for a while.)

Earlier today, the Durham Bulls announced they'll have Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson and John Mellencamp for a concert July 28. Tickets cost $67.75 and go on sale May 9. The tour isn't coming to Montgomery, but it will hit the Southern League. The Tennessee Smokies host a concert July 29, the day after Durham.

That's more exciting than what's happened to the Biscuits this week. Montgomery, strummer of 13 hits in its last three games, ends a home series with the Mobile BayBears.

Myron Noodleman (upper right) will be in the house. Lineups ...
