Chris Mason and Eduardo Morlan are headed back for a second season in Montgomery.
Mason was the Double-A Pitcher of the Year two seasons ago for the Biscuits when he was 15-4 with a 2.57 ERA, but had a forgettable season at Triple-A Durham in 2008. He finished 3-10 with a 6.21 ERA and gave up 19 home runs.
Morlan went to the Brewers in December's Rule 5 draft, but Milwaukee decided he wouldn't stick on its major-league roster, a requirement for Rule 5 picks, and the Rays reclaimed him. He pitched just 47 innings last year with the Biscuits due to a shoulder injury.
