Wednesday's minor-league Rays roundup

Bulls 6, Gwinnett 2
Chris Richard homered twice and drove in five runs. He hit a three-run shot in the first and a two-run homer in the second to give the Bulls a 6-0 lead. Wade Davis gave up three hits and two runs in five innings.

Mobile 12, Biscuits 2
Desmond Jennings and Rhyne Hughes homered for two of the Biscuits' five hits. Mobile catcher Orlando Mercado, son of the major-leaguer, tied a career high with four RBIs and hit his first triple since 2004.

Stone Crabs 7, Sarasota 4
Shawn O'Malley was 4-for-5 with a double, triple and three runs scored. Reid Fronk doubled in O'Malley in the sixth to put the Stone Crabs ahead to stay. In the eighth, O'Malley tripled, Matt Fields tripled and Greg Sexton singled.

Hot Rods 11, West Virginia 4
Shane Dyer, Tyree Hayes and Jamie Bagley retired the last 20 Power hitters and Bowling Green snapped a four-game losing streak. Tony Scelfo knocked in three runs, Henry Wrigley homered and Jake Jefferies had two RBIs.
