Monday's Rays' minor-league roundup

Durham 3, Gwinnett 0
Carlos Hernandez and three relievers combined on a four-hitter to keep the Bulls unbeaten. Reid Brignac doubled and tripled with an RBI and a run scored.

West Tenn 6, Biscuits 5 (13)
Javier Brito's bases-loaded single brought in West Tenn's go-ahead run. The bullpen was a bright spot for the Biscuits. Chris Mason, Eduardo Morlan, Calvin Medlock and Neal Frontz each threw two shutout innings. (Notebook here. Same goes for the quoteless game story.)

Charlotte 5, Fort Myers 3
Matt Fields hit a three-run home run in the first inning and Nevin Ashley a solo shot in the second. Starter Jeremy Hall allowed one unearned run in five innings and Justin Garcia had two perfect innings of relief. Greg Sexton was 3-for-5.

Bowling Green 7, West Virginia 4
Tim Beckham had two RBIs and two runs scored, while Josh Satow had five strikeouts in two perfect innings of relief for the Hot Rods. Tony Scelfo doubled twice and Jake Jefferies knocked in two runs.
