Middle infielder Henry Mateo is moving from the independent Bridgeport Bluefish to the Bulls, the Bluefish announced Saturday.
That was obviously before Akinori Iwamura's injury today.
Mateo had a .416 average to lead the Atlantic League this season, his second with the Bluefish, and has played 190 major-league games.
