Furmaniak here, but not on roster (yet) for series finale

Infielder J.J. Furmaniak, who played in the major leagues with Pittsburgh in 2005 and with Oakland in 2007, was in uniform for pregame workouts with the Biscuits today.

He's not officially on the roster (as of 5 p.m.) for tonight when the Biscuits finish a 10-game homestand against the Huntsville Stars. Furmaniak, 30, played last year in the Philadelphia organization and hit .230 in 118 games for Triple-A Lehigh Valley.
