Two intersections near Riverwalk Stadium will have a new look this spring if Mayor Bobby Bright has his way.
Bright said tonight at the Biscuits Booster Club meeting that he wants to paint a copy of the Biscuits' Monty in the middle of the street and draw attention to the baseball center of the city.
"Something like they do in Auburn with that big ol' paw," Bright said.
After the convention center is finished, the city plans to repave the main streets in the area, including the intersection of Coosa and Tallapoosa in front of Riverwalk and the intersection of Tallapoosa/Columbus and Court past the right-field corner.
Bright pandered to the crowd and wore his own Biscuits Hooligan jersey, complete with the "lucky" number 13. "That's my lucky number," he said. "I was the 13th child." Bright was the 13th of 14 children (eight brothers, five sisters).

Stacy what is BISCUITS BASETBALL?
It on the sports web site today.
Maybe that's why I just got an e-mail with the subject "headline" that asked: "Asleep at the keyboard again?" I asked what they were talking about since I don't write the headlines.
Maybe there's a movie sequel in the works?!?
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0131857/
