Ernesto Mejia had three RBIs, scored twice and hit his Mississippi Braves-record 21st home run, in an 8-5 win over the Biscuits on Monday.
Montgomery starter Chris Archer (8-7) lasted just four innings. He gave up five runs on six hits and five walks. Mejia hit a two-run home run off him in the fourth to make it 5-0.
John Matulia hit a grand slam in the eighth for the Biscuits.
