Sunday's Rays roundup

Bulls 4, Charlotte 3 (Game 1, 8)
Brandon Guyer
tripled and scored on a J.J. Furmaniak squeeze bunt to win it. Matt Moore had a book-rule quality start with six strikeouts, giving him a combined 200 K's this season. Rehabbing Justin Ruggiano hit a two-run home run in the sixth and walked.

Bulls 3, Charlotte 0 (Game 2)
Matt Torra
went six innings and combined with Rob Delaney on a five-hitter. Brandon Guyer homered, singled, stole and scored twice. Robinson Chirinos was 3-for-3.

Stone Crabs 7, Fort Myers 0
C.J. Riefenhauser
went six innings and combined with Adam Liberatore and Scott Shuman on a three-hitter. Riefenhauser gave up all three hits. Mike Sheridan doubled twice, walked and scored twice. Mark Thomas homered, walked and scored twice.

Hot Rods 2, Great Lakes 1 (10)
Victor Mateo
gave up one run in six innings and combined with Jimmy Patterson and Chris Rearick on a three-hitter. Rearick, ho-hum, tossed two perfect innings and improved to 7-2 with a 1.40 ERA. Kevin Kiermaier scored the winning run in balk-off fashion.

Elizabethton 8, P-Rays 2
Taylor Motter
and Justin O'Conner each homered and walked. O'Conner also singled. Ryan Brett walked twice and stole.

GCL Rays
Season ended Saturday. Finished 24-36.
