Jacksonville right-hander Bryan Evans, with the help of the Biscuits, was the season's final Southern League pitcher of the week.
Evans threw a two-hit shutout last Monday at Riverwalk Stadium and followed with 7 2/3 shutout innings Sunday against Mississippi He finished 7-5 with a 3.32 ERA.
Tennessee third baseman Christian Villanueva was the final week's top player. He was 7-for-23 with three home runs and six RBIs. Villanueva's final season numbers included a .261 average, 19 home runs and 72 RBIs.
