
Robert E. Lee graduate Nick Singleton, a pitcher for the independent Sioux City Explorers, has been named an American Association All-Star. The right-hander, who helps on the Biscuits' grounds crew before leaving for his season, is 5-3 with a 3.31 ERA in 11 starts.
Singleton was 8-4 with a 2.24 ERA in 112.2 innings last year for the Explorers.
